More Clown, More Stick

I promise not to let success go to my head...

My new album's been out for just under two weeks and, thus far, I've made thousands of pennies! I'm currently topping the charts of "Albums Released By Clarinetists Named Seth Kibel In May 2023."

All joking aside, it's been nice to get a lot of support and encouragement from the clarinet-loving masses. I REALLY appreciate it!

If you haven't done so already, you can stream the new album from pretty much any platform by clicking this link. (Apple Music isn't there yet, but that should be rectified soon, since I casually slipped Tim Cook a fiver across a barroom table.)

And if you'd like one of those vintage collectible compact discs, you can get that directly from my poorly-designed website. (I blame my web designer -- he talks a good game, but really can't deliver.)

The album release show in DC was a rip-roaring success (see below for some videos), but a week from tomorrow is my Baltimore release show!

Friday, June 9 -- An Die Musik Live!

409 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21201

7 to 9 pm

There are both in-person AND virtual livestream tickets available. The livestream is available to view for up to a week after the show.

Seth Kibel -- clarinet, flute

Sean Lane -- piano

Bob Abbott -- double bass

Wes Crawford -- drums

In-person tickets -- $10-$20. Live-stream tickets -- $15.

Here are a few EASY ways you can assist me in my relentless battle against obsolescence and irrelevance:

1) Buy the actual CD. For yourself and for all of your friends and family members. You can rest assured they don't already own copies! You can do that at one of my live shows, or directly from my website. If you've got a table with one leg slightly shorter than the others, this will do the trick!

2) Stream the album (repeatedly) on the music platform of your choice. On mute. Yeah, I get literally a FRACTION of a penny when you do that, but the more plays I get, the better my algorithms will be and I'll show up in more places. And if enough of you folks do it, I can buy myself a stick of pre-used gum.

3) Like, share, playlist -- all the kind of stuff you can do on a streaming service that will help my numbers.

4) Tell your friends. Tell your enemies. Tell your friends' enemies. Tell your frenemies. Launch a Presidential campaign on Twitter while using my album cover as your backdrop.

Thank you in advance for all of your love and support!
