Well, I've got a new album in the pipeline and it's VERY different from anything I've ever done before.
I don't like to put TOO much politics in these email updates, but if you think that it's something that might resonate with you, I politely ask that you check out my Kickstarter campaign to find out more, and help support this project by pre-ordering a copy.
To make these songs come to life, I've enlisted a cavalcade of talented vocalists and instrumentalists from the Washington/Baltimore region. Click here for the complete list. I'm thrilled and honored that so many talented individuals took time out from their schedules to lend their musical prowess to my musical rants!
The album is completely recorded at this point, and should be out by the end of the summer. Anything you can do to help spread the word and support this undertaking would be greatly appreciated!

All politics aside, I've got a busy schedule of gigs the next few months, playing lots of non-partisan jazz, blues, swing, and klezmer, all over the Mid-Atlantic. Go to www.sethkibel.com for the complete schedule.
If you've got little people in your life, check out the Saturday Family Jazz sessions I'll be leading at Strathmore Hall (in the Mansion) on May 20, June 3, and June 17. These fun programs take place on Saturday mornings at 11 am, and are interactive presentations designed for jazz lovers ages 3 through 11. Click here for tickets or for more information!
