Happy New Year, everyone! Now that the dumpster fire of 2025 is in the rearview mirror, I'd like to announce that 2026 will see the first new album from me in over three years! And I could really use your support to see this project to fruition.

"Clarinet, Without a Net" will be a clarinet-centric album of instrumental tunes. It will feature mostly originals composed by me, along with a few well-chosen (and somewhat surprising) cover selections. This album will live at the intersection of jazz, Americana, klezmer, and blues. Basically, it is a summation of the strange musical identity I've carved out for myself over the past few decades.

It will be available on all major streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.), but as you well know, I would have to achieve ASTRONOMICAL numbers of plays on those platforms to recoup even a fraction of the cost of making this record.

I bet many of you resolved to better support degenerate clarinetists in the New Year. Well, here's your chance!

There are still a handful of in-person tickets available for this Wednesday's "Jews of Tin Pan Alley" show at Keystone Korner Baltimore. There are also an unlimited number of high-quality livestream tickets available! Through music and insightful commentary from Seth, we'll explore the Jewish influence on these great American songwriters and how the lines began to blur between the music of the old country and the music of the New World.
