More (musical) hot air

I know it's been hot and there's been lots of wildfire smoke and other nonsense the past few weeks, but I'm continuing to blow hot air out into the world whenever and wherever I can! I've got a slew of public performances all over the Mid-Atlantic the next few weeks -- including a free show TONIGHT in Gaithersburg.

As always, check my website for the complete schedule, but here are a few highlights:

Sunday, July 26 -- 49 West Coffeehouse, Winebar, & Gallery

49 West Street, Annapolis, MD 21401

7 to 9:30 pm

$25 cover

I'll be playing as part of their "Intimate Jazz" series in the back room (started by the legendary Elana Byrd), along with pianist Harry Appelman and bassist Bob Abbott. Jazz, klezmer, and more. There are only 40 seats available, so call 49 West at 410-626-9796 ASAP to reserve your spot!

Wednesday, August 5 -- Keystone Korner Baltimore

1350 Lancaster Street, Baltimore, MD 21231

7 to 9 pm

A bona fide album release show, with many of the musicians from my new album backing me up -- Marcel Penzes on trombone, Erin Murphy Snedecor on cello, Ahren Buchheister on dobro, guitar, and mandolin, Eliot Seppa on double bass, and Haroon Alam on tablas. Both in-person and livestream tickets available -- click here to get 'em!

Saturday, August 8 -- Creative Cauldron

410 South Maple Avenue, Retail 116, Falls Church, VA 22046

7:30 to 9:30 pm

Another album release show, as part of their "Passport to the World" concert series. Again, I'll be joined by musicians who played on the new album -- Marcel Penzes on trombone, Max Jacobs on violin, Simon Baron on accordion, Tom Holtz on tuba, and Rowan Corbett on percussion and bones.

Both in-person and livestream tickets available -- click here to get 'em!

Remember, with both the Keystone Korner and the Creative Cauldron shows (I only play places that alliterate), you get to pick your seats WHEN you buy your tickets. So the sooner you get them, the closer you'll be to the front of the stage which will make it easier for you to awkwardly get up and stand in front of us when we take our bows, forcing us to crop you out of the pictures later.

Still another performance video from the new album! This is an original composition of mine -- "Cautious Romanticism." Please check it out, like it, comment on it, share it, and send it to your office Slack channel.
