January is USUALLY a slower time of year for musicians like myself. But this year, that doesn't seem to be the case. There's literally NO time of the year when you're safe from the sonic assault of my clarinet.

Saturday, January 4 -- House concert with concert (!) pianist Daniel Weiser in Pikesville, Maryland
A surprise "encore" performance of the repertoire from my Fall 2024 tours with Daniel Weiser for Amici Music. We'll be exploring the rich, fertile musical territory where classical music, jazz, and klezmer all intersect!

Sunday, January 5 -- 3rd Annual Eastern-European Throwdown at the New Deal Cafe

My trio (with Sean Lane and Bob Abbott) vs. Tomas Drgon and Orchester Prazevica! No cover, but the New Deal no longer takes reservations, so you better get there early if you want a seat!
Sunday, January 12 -- Emerson Avenue Salon
Mclean, Virginia

Thursday, January 16 -- Swing Night with Seth Kibel & Flo Anito

A full band show with yours truly, vocalist Flo Anito, Sean Lane on piano, Cyndy Rice Elliott on double bass, and Wes Crawford on drums. Jazz and swing suitable for dancing, listening, or anything in-between! And just a taste of klezmer -- enough to make sure no one dozes off. $10 cover.
