Greetings, my dear friends!

It's a busy, busy summer, and I'll be sweatin' and spittin' at venues all over the Baltimore and Washington region!  As always, the complete schedule is at, but here are a few highlights:

Thursday, July 30 -- Glen Echo Park (Bumper Car Pavilion)

Outdoor concert with Seth Kibel Quartet

7300 MacArthur Boulevard

Bethesda, MD  20814

7:30 to 8:30 pm

Fun for the WHOLE family with yours truly, Sean Lane on piano,Russ Rodgers on bass, and Wes Crawford on drums.

And it's covered, so unless the weather is REALLY bad...

Monday, August 3 -- Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club

Featured artist with Daryl Davis Band

7719 Wisconsin Avenue

Bethesda, MD  20814

7:30 to 10 pm

$5 cover

Daryl Davis has been running this Monday night series all summer long, to tremendous acclaim.  I'm thrilled and honored to be the "featured artist" this coming Monday.  Daryl and I have been friends, as well as musical collaborators, for several decades now, and we always have a crazy good time when we perform together.

Wednesday, August 5 -- Riversdale House Museum

Outdoor concert with Seth Kibel Quartet

4811 Riverdale Road

Riverdale, MD  20737

7 to 8 pm

This is a real fun outdoor concert series!  With me, I'll have Justin Taylor on piano, Russ Rodgers on bass, and Mark Lucas on drums.  If it rains, we just move inside the mansion.

Friday, August 7 -- Hilton Washington Dulles Airport

Swing Dance with Seth Kibel Quartet

13869 Park Center Drive

Herndon, VA  20171

9 pm to midnight

I've played this super fun swing dance numerous times (including with The Natty Beaux this coming Friday -- July 31), but it'll be an extra treat to show up with my own group.  There's a free beginner lesson at 8:30 pm, so don't worry if you've never danced before!

For this show, I'll have Justin Taylor on piano, Daniel Brown on double bass, Wes Crawford on drums, and guest vocalist Lena Seikaly!

Oh, and here's the FB event page for this dance.

Well, I still think these computers are just a fad, but that notwithstanding, I've made social media uncool by expanding my online presence.

If you'd like me to harass you even more than I currently do, I encourage you to:

a)  "Like" my new public Facebook profile

b)  "Follow" me on Twitter -- @SethKibelMusic

Here are some fab videos from last year's "Blues & Boogie Woogie Piano Stomp" in Iowa City, Iowa, organized by piano whiz (and Seth Kibel stunt double) Chase Garrett!

Pennies From Heaven (featuring Chase & myself)

Stormy Weather (featuring Chase & myself)

The Slop (featuring "Sax Gordon" Beadle et moi)

Oh, and check out me and the fellers tearin' it up at The Kennedy Center with a few special guests!

And here's the ENTIRE pre-show concert from The Kennedy Center's big Frank Sinatra tribute show!

Finally, if you're reading this far, I'm assuming you already know me pretty well.  That's a good thing, 'cause The Washington Jewish Week thinks you should.
