A return to NYC, an update on the new album, and more!
Are you currently residing in the New York metropolitan area?  Do you have friends or family who do?  College roommates?  Pen pals?  Ex-boyfriends?  Ex-girlfriends?  Former landlords?  Cyber stalkers?  Celebrity crushes?  Pet alligators you released into the city sewers?
If the answer to any of those questions is "heck, yeah," then you need to know about my big gig in Manhattan this coming Sunday!  Spread the word like it's jelly, people!
Sunday, July 16 -- City Winery NYC
155 Varick Street
New York, NY  10013
212-608--0555
I'll be there as part of their infamous "Klezmer Brunch," from 11 am to 2 pm.  Tickets are $10, but do not include the crazy yummy brunch.
The band will include yours truly, along with Michael Raitzyk on guitar, Bob Abbott on bass, and the unruly William Kibel on piano, melodica, and cajon.  We'll be doing some klezmer, some jazz, and more!
Advance ticket purchase is HIGHLY encouraged!  Click here to get 'em now!
It's no substitute for purchasing tickets, but here's the Facebook Event page for this gig.

How's my new album coming along?  Well, here's a video update for ya!
The short story is that "Seth Kibel Presents Songs of Snark & Despair" is all recorded and mixed!  We're just finishing the artwork and mastering, and then it's off to the manufacturer.  We'll definitely have this puppy out before Labor Day, right around the time Bob Mueller starts handing out indictments.
If you helped to support this project on Kickstarter, you'll be getting your rewards around that time.  If you didn't, you should be able to purchase the finished album around then, as well.
And if you have no freakin' idea what I'm talking about, click this link!
