Really awful musicians
The groundhog covered his ears...
...which means at least six more weeks of clarinet playing!
Despite the winter weather, I've been pretty busy tootin' my horns all over the country.  As always, you can take a gander at the complete schedule at www.sethkibel.com, but below are a few special highlights.
Thursday, February 14 -- New Deal Cafe
Valentine's Day Concert with Seth Kibel & Flo Anito
113 Centerway Street
Greenbelt, MD  20770

no cover!
With pianist Harry Appelman.  There's going to be a special vegan menu for Valentine's Day, with wine pairings and desserts.  It should be a fun night, with songs for romantics, cynics, and misanthropes of all kinds.

This is going to be a very special show, in a great space.  Both Dave and Maureen are stellar talents and DC-area musical luminaries, so expect some very special collaborations, never to be repeated again!
Below is a brand-new music video for the song "Cages," written by Flo Anito and myself.  It's an uncharacteristically serious song concerning the REAL crisis on the southern border.  This recording is from our upcoming "Tiny Hands" EP that will be out this spring.  On this track, you'll hear not only Flo and myself, but guitarist Cristian Perez, bassist Bob Abbott, and percussionist Tom Teasley.  The photos used in the video are all by DC-area photographer Joe Flood.
