Greetings, my dear friends!

It's a busy, busy summer, and I'll be sweatin' and spittin' at venues all over the Baltimore and Washington region!  As always, the complete schedule is at www.sethkibel.com, but here are a few highlights:

Thursday, July 30 -- Glen Echo Park (Bumper Car Pavilion)

Outdoor concert with Seth Kibel Quartet

7300 MacArthur Boulevard

Bethesda, MD  20814

301-364-2222

7:30 to 8:30 pm

free!

Fun for the WHOLE family with yours truly, Sean Lane on piano,Russ Rodgers on bass, and Wes Crawford on drums.

And it's covered, so unless the weather is REALLY bad...

Featured artist with Daryl Davis Band

7719 Wisconsin Avenue

Bethesda, MD  20814

240-330-0420

7:30 to 10 pm

$5 cover

Daryl Davis has been running this Monday night series all summer long, to tremendous acclaim.  I'm thrilled and honored to be the "featured artist" this coming Monday.  Daryl and I have been friends, as well as musical collaborators, for several decades now, and we always have a crazy good time when we perform together.

Wednesday, August 5 -- Riversdale House Museum

Outdoor concert with Seth Kibel Quartet

4811 Riverdale Road

Riverdale, MD  20737

301-864-0420

7 to 8 pm

free!

This is a real fun outdoor concert series!  With me, I'll have Justin Taylor on piano, Russ Rodgers on bass, and Mark Lucas on drums.  If it rains, we just move inside the mansion.

Friday, August 7 -- Hilton Washington Dulles Airport

Swing Dance with Seth Kibel Quartet

13869 Park Center Drive

Herndon, VA  20171

703-478-2900

9 pm to midnight

$15

I've played this super fun swing dance numerous times (including with The Natty Beaux this coming Friday -- July 31), but it'll be an extra treat to show up with my own group.  There's a free beginner lesson at 8:30 pm, so don't worry if you've never danced before!

For this show, I'll have Justin Taylor on piano, Daniel Brown on double bass, Wes Crawford on drums, and guest vocalist Lena Seikaly!

Oh, and here's the FB event page for this dance.
