While most of you may be desperately wishing that 2016 would just come to an inglorious end already, I've got some more shows to plug!
But there's one I really want to mention here:
Wednesday, December 28 -- Annual Chanukah Concert with the Seth Kibel Quartet
409 N. Charles Street
Baltimore, MD 21201
8 to 10 pm

Now...a special Chanukah present for you nice people!
This track, which is free, and downloadable, is the result of collaboration I did recently with Audix, a young up-and-coming electronica producer in Baltimore. I played all of the assorted woodwind instruments and he did everything else. The result is, shall we say...rather unique. Think of it as klezmer meets dubstep. Kleztronica, perhaps?
In any case, please listen, share, repost, facetweet, and instachat it for us!

Technically, this is a 2017 show, but on January 4 you might still have alcohol in your system from 2016, so I'll mention this here anyway.
113 Centerway Street
Greenbelt, MD 20770
7:30 to 9:30 pm
No cover, although tips (and advice) are certainly welcome!
This is a reprise of our "Desert Echoes" collaboration which was wildly successful (if I may say so myself) at this year's Washington Jewish Music Festival. For those of you who aren't familiar with him, Tom Teasley is globe-trotting, award-winning percussionist. Together, we mix an improvisatory blend of klezmer, jazz, Arabic sounds, and more.
